CIMB OCTO MY: Approval Speed Matters

APP USER SATISFACTION PERFORMANCE

CIMB OCTO MY’s October 2026 results in Malaysia show strong user satisfaction alongside friction at critical payment moments. The survey used the App Pulse Score© (APS) methodology from CASSUARINA LABS to translate users’ qualitative feedback into satisfaction metrics. Survey results show that 82.2% of users’ qualitative feedback fell into the “Love It” category, while 13.6% was classified as “Disappointed or frustrated.” The APS score, also derived from that qualitative feedback, reached 74.0 out of 100.

Ease of use is the most prominent positive theme in the supplied comments, followed by everyday banking convenience and transaction speed. Negative feedback concentrates on slow loading, interrupted access and approval steps that can consume the time available to complete a payment. These experiences reveal a specific product challenge: an interface can be easy to navigate while the transaction journey remains difficult to finish.
