SPAREBANK: 54.2% Love It, but Login Friction and Payment Visibility Hold Back the Experience

Norway Banking & Fintech Apps User Satisfaction Survey | October 2026

APP USER SATISFACTION PERFORMANCE

SPAREBANK delivers a mixed user experience, combining strong appreciation for everyday banking convenience with recurring frustrations around reliability, authentication, and payment management.

The October 2026 survey, using the APS from Cassuarina Labs methodology, translates qualitative user feedback into measurable satisfaction indicators. Results show that 54.2% of users' qualitative feedback fell into the “Love It” satisfaction category, while 27.2% reflected disappointment or frustration.

SPAREBANK achieved an App Pulse Score© (APS) of 48.5, placing it in the Developing performance category, although 19.4 points above Norway's banking and fintech app average.

The central finding is a contrast: users appreciate the app's intuitive design and broad financial overview, but technical disruptions and unclear payment information undermine confidence in essential banking activities.
